Delete your TwelveAI account
You can delete your account from the app or right here. Deletion is scheduled 90 days out so you have time to withdraw balances or change your mind; after that, it is permanent.
Two ways to delete your account
In the app: open Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm with your PIN or biometrics.
On this page: enter the email address on your account and the one-time code we send to it. Once the code checks out we show you whose account it is (name, join date and balances) so you can be sure before you confirm. You do not need to be signed in.
What happens next
Deletion is scheduled 90 days from your request. During that window your account is closed to new activity and you can cancel by signing in and choosing Cancel deletion in Settings; this protects you from an accidental or unauthorised request.
Withdraw any remaining naira or dollar balance before the deletion date. Balances that remain are handled under our Terms of Service and applicable regulation.
After the 90 days your profile, login credentials, devices, saved payees, chat history, notification preferences and app settings are permanently deleted.
What we keep, and why
Transaction records, identity verification results and related audit logs are retained for the period required by Nigerian financial regulation and anti-money-laundering rules, after which they are deleted. They are kept only for compliance, are not used for marketing, and are not linked to a live profile.
Support tickets you opened may be retained in anonymised form.
